Duties and forms of activity of the association
In the
cases that determined by the legislation and not forbidden by the
Law, the duties of the Association are following:
- to take an active part in the generalization and the inculcation
theoretical and scientific -practical results of researches of the
scientists of the Azerbaijan Republic in the sphere of biophysics
and adjoining branches of sciences;
- to promote professional skills of the members of the Association,
to participate in discussions of scientific researches, discoveries,
rationalization proposals and to promote their applications;
- to establish and to consolidate relations with international scientific
societies and famous researchers, to assist in realization joint scientific
researches and in discussion of the achieved results;
- to ensure inculcation of International scientific achievements into
the economics of the Azerbaijan Republic for consolidation and improvement
of technologies, to participate in creation of the joint ventures
in this sphere;
- to render scientific and pedagogical support for the higher and
secondary schools at the learning to apply achievement of modern biophysics,
to participate at the training of personnel;
- systematically to propagandize and to spread scientific and technological
achievements and knowledges;
- to promote an elaboration of scientific and technological terms
in biophysics, and to promote a publication of textbooks and monographs;
- periodically to publish magazines, newspapers, scientific works
of the Association in different spheres of biophysics;
- to promote inculcation into industry the discoveries of members
of the Association;
- to organize scientific conferences, symposiums, round desktops etc
in Azerbaijan, with participation of foreign scientists;
- to carry out other forms of activity not forbidden by the Law.
For
realization its purposes the Association:
- independently informs about its aims and activity;
- represents and defends legitimate interests of its members in the
state bodies, in political and public organizations;
- unites on the voluntary principles, creates funds and unions;
- receives credits of banks;
- buys goods for realization of the charter/s duties;
- concludes agreements with juridical and physical persons for realization
its activity;
- organizes symposiums, round desktops, lectures;
- finances from own funds charitable, humanitarian and social programs;
- gains and leases lots, buildings and other constructions;
- creates publishing organs of the Association;
- represents foreign organizations in the Azerbaijan Republic;
- submits for state and others prizes out-standing discoveries and
researches having a large contribution to the solution of important
theoretical problems in biophysical and adjoining spheres of science;
founds diplomas and awards for the best researches; confers a qualifications
founded by the Association;
- establishes and develops contacts with similar foreign organizations,
realizes the representative agreements;
- sends the members of the Association on an official trip to the
leading scientific and training centers of the world for training
and special courses;
- carries out activity not forbidden by the law.
