The biophysics as independent discipline was formed in Azerbaijan in the beginning of 60 years of the XX century. The way to it for the first biophysicists was different. One of them were engaged in physics of polymers, others were studied different problems of biology and chemistry. The history of development of a biophysics in Azerbaijan is rich by bright indelible events. We, the third generation of Azerbaijan scientists deeply reverse those who stood at the source of biophysics in Azerbaijan and proud of traditions and achievements of our biophysicists.
Our society that was created in 1998 integrates about hundred researchers working in the field biophisics and related disciplines. The achievements of Azerbaijan biophysicists are widely known not only in our Republic. They are published in the most priority scientific journals, reported on International Congresses and Meetings. Azerbaijanian biophysicists are the members of International Academies and other Scientific Organizations. Now the representativies of the Azerbaijan Biophysical school work in a leading world scientific Centres and Universities.
We are ready to contact with International Organizations and scientific researchers working in the field of biophysics and wait for mutually advatageous proposals for cooperation.
